I am grateful for the huge spectrum of people and cultures, right here in our own country. The people you meet on the East Coast are different than those that grew up on the West Coast. Those rugged folks from Montana and the Dakotas are a different breed than the sun-kissed residents of Florida and the Atlantic coast.

Then there is one state that is proudly independent from the rest – Texas. Indeed, while Texas is the largest state in the continental US, Texans from Amarillo to the Rio Grande all have a pride and spirit that unites them. Sometimes this foolhardy pride can cause our Texan friends to be the butt of the joke.

Such is the case in the third and final play in the Greater Tuna trilogy of plays, written by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard.

Tuna Does Vegas re-unites the lovable and eccentric characters from the ‘third smallest town in Texas’ as they take on Sin City.

The hilarity begins when oddball-conservative radio host Arles Struvie announces on air that he and his wife Bertha Bumiller are heading to Vegas to renew their wedding vows…but everyone in Tuna, Texas goes along for the ride!
