Come On Out for Charlotte Bluegrass Festival 2023

May 12th, 2023 by Corey A. Edwards

Charlotte Bluegrass Festival 2023Bluegrass and mountain music fans will not want to miss the upcoming 2023 Charlotte Bluegrass Festival, Michigan’s largest bluegrass festival, celebrating it’s 51st year! June 22-24, at the Eaton County Fairgrounds in Charlotte, MI.

There’s nothing quite like a good bluegrass jam and the annual Charlotte Bluegrass Festival is all that and much more. This year’s event celebrates 51 years of bluegrass tradition with 3 full days of music by some of the biggest names in bluegrass.  The 2023 lineup includes Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper, The Lonesome River Band, the Edgar Loudermilk Band, the Amanda Cook Band, The Kody Norris Show, The David Mayfield Parade, the Williamson Branch, Harbourtown Bluegrass, New Outlook, Full Cord, The Next Paige, and Crabgrass. Wow!

Attendees can also look forward to musician workshops and some of the best impromptu parking lot jams around. Are you a musician? Be sure to bring your instrument along!

You may also want to bring along a lawn chair or picnic blanket, though stadium seating will also be available. Concessions will be available for purchase at the event but you can also bring along your own cooler of goodies.

Camping for the festival is available at the fairgrounds but those preferring a higher grade of accommodations will be happy to learn that The English Inn is only 20 minutes away! That’s right: you can enjoy hours of great bluegrass music at the fairgrounds knowing that, once it’s over, all the comforts of The English Inn Restaurant & Pub await. A great combo for an utterly unforgettable weekend.
