Potter Park Zoo Wonderland of Lights 2021 and Other Area Holiday Events

November 8th, 2021 by Corey A. Edwards

Potter Park Zoo Wonderland of Lights 2021The holidays are nearly upon us and the excitement is in the air. Everywhere you look there are bright lights, festive decorations and the calendar is loaded with fun events to attend. Things like Wonderland of Lights at Potter Park Zoo, Lansing’s Silver Bells In the City, East Lansing’s Winter Glow and more!

Thanksgiving, Christmas, and all the end of the year holidays always bring such a warm and happy glow with them. Who doesn’t enjoy the sight of twinkling holiday lights in an otherwise cold and dark winter’s night? If you plan on being in the Lansing area this holiday season, you’ll find plenty to enjoy throughout both November and December.

Here at The English Inn Restaurant & Pub, we’ll be decorating the estate in its holiday finest and planning scrumptious holiday dinners. We are so looking forward to sharing the joys of the holiday season with you!

Our Lansing area restaurant and inn may be located outside the city – but only just. The fun and bustle of Lansing and other area hot spots are just minutes away from our quiet country estate. The best of both worlds: an exciting playground to explore with a quiet and comfortable homebase to return to. Perfect!

Thanksgiving in our Historic Inn

November 17th, 2010 by insideout

Instead of slaving in the kitchen this year, come to Thanksgiving at our historic Eaton Rapids Inn. Let us do the cooking for you while you enjoy yourself and your companions. We have two options for dining on Thanksgiving day. Guests may dine restaurant style in the main house, or family style at tables of ten in the Medovue Hall ballroom.

The Devonshire room is one of 4 dining areas in the Inn.

In the main house, menu offerings include traditional Thanksgiving fare as well as our customary dishes. This is a great option for groups of friends or families looking for a diverse menu – vegetarians may dine alongside carnivores, each happy with their plates. Meals are served from 12:30 to 7:30 p.m.

In the ballroom, you’ll dine as if you were at home (with cooks and waiters, of course). The head of the table will carve the roast turkey, while plates heaped with potatoes and stuffing will pass from diner to diner. This is a great option for people who love everything about Thanksgiving except the work it takes to host. Limited seating starts at noon.

Make the Thanksgiving holiday complete and stay with at our Lansing Michigan inn, or come for the meal alone. We welcome one and all.

For reservations, please call 1-800-858-0598 or email englishinn@comcast.net.
