Lansing and the surrounding area are fortunate to have Michigan State University – the whole community benefits from the wide variety of concerts, art shows, lectures and sporting events offered by the MSU. Many guests of our Eaton Rapids luxury inn come to town to see or participate in activities at the university.
This week, on Thursday, October 28, 2010, the MSU College of Music celebrates Two Hundred Years of Chopin, part of the West Circle Music Series. There is still space available at our Lansing area bed and breakfast, so give us a call and come to down for an evening of delightful piano music.
Pianists Panayis Lyras, Deborah Moriaty, Alan Nathan, Dereck Polischuk, Minsoo Sohn, George Vatchnadze and Ralph Votapek will take on Chopin. Expect to hear Opus 73 to the Barcarolle in F-sharp minor, Gondo in C major for Two Pianos, and Op. 60, among others.
