Lansing Lugnuts Schedule for the 2020 Season
February 8th, 2020 by Corey A. Edwards
The Lansing Lugnuts schedule for the 2020 season includes 70 home games, with the home opener at Cooley Law School Stadium scheduled for April 16th, 2020. This season marks the Lugnuts 25th year and promises a number of special events celebrating the anniversary.
Opening day is right around the corner and excitement is building for the Lugnuts 25th year on the diamond. Whether you’re an avid Lugnuts fan or just enjoy attending baseball games, 2020 promises lots of MiLB excitement. The schedule is packed with plenty of holidays, rivalries, and the latest home opener since 2004.
The Lansing Lugnuts are the Oakland Athletics’ Class A Midwest League affiliate. The team has won two Midwest League championships, hosted four Midwest League All-Star Games, and produced 149 Major League players. They still hold the MiLB attendance record for a club’s inaugural season at 538,325 and regularly draw 300,000 fans a season.
Best of all Cooley Law School Stadium (previously Oldsmobile Park) is less than a half hour’s drive from The English Inn Restaurant & Pub. Enjoy all the noise and excitement of a Lugnuts game, then return to the peace and comfort of your room at our Michigan inn.

Go Spartans!
September 15th, 2011 by insideout
Fall means the return of rain in the Pacific Northwest and brilliant foliage in New England. It means relief from extreme heat in the southeast and southwest, and it means shorter days and longer nights in Alaska. Yet all across the country, north to south, east to west, fall also means football. And that’s a good thing.
Our Lansing, Michigan, Bed and Breakfast sits in the backyard of Michigan State University (figuratively speaking, of course). Each fall, we welcome the return of the Spartans with open arms. Each September, we clear our throats and get ready to cheer for the MSU Football Team.
The Spartans have had nothing but wins so far this year. They walloped Youngstown State 28-6, and they crushed Florida Atlantic 44-0. This Saturday, we’ll face stiffer competition at Notre Dame. We feel optimistic.
Many families stay with us or dine at our Lansing Restaurant while in town to drop off their students. For some, we’re as much a part of the “Back to School” tradition as packing the car. Their victories are our victories, their defeats our defeats.
We hope to see many fans at our Lansing pub to celebrate a victory after the game on Saturday, and in the coming months. Go Spartans!
