Lansing Inn Spreads Holiday Cheer

December 15th, 2010 by insideout

We just can’t help ourselves.

Our Lansing Bed and Breakfast is all decked out for the holidays with evergreen boughs, wreaths, red ribbons and lights. The scent of pine infuses every corner of the inn, bringing with it thoughts of Christmas. Just the right amount of holiday music sets a festive tone.

Our Lansing area inn and restaurant exudes holiday cheer.

Our Lansing area restaurant has been busy with holiday luncheons and dinners. With five distinct rooms, we can comfortably accommodate several parties at once. We host small, intimate affairs in the Oxford Room (seats sixteen) and the Thames Room (seats twenty-four). Larger events are best suited to the Midford Room (seats thirty-two), the Devonshire Room (seats fifty), and Medovue Hall, which comfortably houses fifty to two hundred guests.

Lansing Area Holiday Parties

December 8th, 2010 by insideout

Our Michigan inn, restaurant, and pub is the ideal place to host your Lansing area holiday parties. We are a large facility with a variety of venues that comfortably accommodate anywhere from sixteen to two hundred guests. Holiday parties may have heavy appetizers and a full bar, or a full sit-down luncheon or dinner; you decide.

The Thames Room (seats 24)  features three walls of leaded windows, a fireplace, and views of gardens and the Grand River. The Devonshire Room (seats 50) features rich Honduran mahogany paneled walls, an elegant fireplace, and a baby grand piano. The Oxford Room (seats 16) features a large stone fireplace and expansive views. The Midford Room (seats 32) is the estate’s original dining room and looks directly out to the gardens. Finally, Medovue Hall (50 – 200 guests) is a grand setting with huge arched windows and views over the whole estate.

Our expansive grounds feature formal English gardens and views of the Grand River. There are walking trails throughout the fifteen acres – the perfect place to stroll after a meal. While not much is in bloom at this time of year, the gardens are a delightful place to take in a bit of fresh air or reconnect with an old friend.

Host your company holiday party here and your colleagues and employees will feel appreciated. Host a family party here and everyone will have a good time; there will be no frenzied running in an out of the kitchen while trying to enjoy the company of siblings, children, parents, and long lost cousins. Instead, reconnect over a glass of wine from our award winning wine cellar, or a pint at the pub. Everyone is the guest of honor at our Lansing area DiRoNA restaurant.

Holiday Parties at our Lansing Restaurant

October 4th, 2010 by insideout

a toast

Add a Champagne toast to your special event.

It may feel like summer just ended and fall has barely arrived, but in truth, the holidays will soon be here. October is a good time to plan ahead for holiday parties and luncheons at our Lansing inn. As a special incentive to help you organize your calendar, we’re throwing in a Champagne toast for parties of 20 or more booked before November 1, 2010.

Our Lansing inn and restaurant frequently hosts a wide variety of special occasions: Lansing area businesses looking to treat employees to an unforgettable holiday event, families hoping to congregate in a neutral zone, and surprise birthday bashes or anniversary parties. Our banquet and conference rooms (five in all) include a formal drawing room with mahogany paneling and room for fifty, a garden view dining room with three walls of leaded windows and space for twenty-four, and a grand ballroom with dance floor and room for seventy-five guests. Intimate or grand, a full meal or heavy appetizers, it is our goal to make your special event all you want it to be.
