For those of you who appreciate functional art, patterns, color and texture, come and see the quilts on display at the Going to Pieces Quilt Show. This is the premiere event for quilters in Michigan.
Feast your eyes on color, design and creativity while viewing over 400 quilts made by members of the Capitol City Quilt Guild (CCQG). Over 30 vendors will offer their wares for sale. Taking place Saturday and Sunday May 4 & 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (4 p.m. Sunday), admission is $6 per day or $10 for both days.
Shop for 100% cotton fabric, books, patterns, quilting supplies and of course finished quits.
Quilt Show Events and Goods
Door Prizes – All attendees will receive a ticket that gives them a chance to win a door prize donated especially for quilters. These special prizes were donated by quilt shops, national companies and individual quilters. Hope you win!
Silent Auction – All items in the Silent Auction were generously donated by the members of the Capitol City Quilt Guild. Items include various size quilts, wall hangings, table runners or toppers, purses, tote bags, jewelry and other handmade items.
Quilterโs Boutique – Handmade sewn items under $25 are the best bargains at the boutique. You are bound to find some nicknack you need: pincushions, small purses, table runners, tote bags, etc.
Quilts to Go – If you need a great gift for a wedding, graduation, birthday, special occasion, or a special person โ stop by and check out quilts to purchase and take home with you. This is a consignment booth, offering CCQG members an opportunity to sell their handmade items.
