Color Cruise and Island Festival
September 27th, 2010 by insideout
If you’re staying at our Lansing bed and breakfast the weekend of October 8 – 10, 2010, we hope you’ll have time to check out the Fall Color Festival in nearby Grand Ledge.
Take a scenic cruise aboard the Princess Laura Riverboat, or rent a canoe and explore the Grand River on your own. The 60 foot high sand ledges in Grand Ledge are simply spectacular when viewed from the river – especially when dressed in glorious fall colors.
The Island Festival includes plenty of traditional fall activities such as apple cider pressing, kettle corn popping, and pumpkin painting. In addition, there will be demonstrations on blacksmithing, woodcarving, spinning and weaving, among other old-time activities.
For more information about the festival, please call (517) 627-5170 or (517) 627-2154. For more information about our Lansing bed and breakfast, please call 1-800-858-0598 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
