Silver Bells in the City 2019
Silver Bells in the City is one of the biggest and most popular annual holiday events in the Lansing area. Every year the city is set to glowing with thousands of sparkling lights, festive decorations, and tons of happy fun.
Silver Bells is not one but many holiday themed events rolled into one fantastic day! Attractions include the Electric Light Parade, the lighting of the State Christmas Tree, a community sing, shopping in Silver Bells Village, and fireworks over the Capitol dome. There’s even a live concert planned featuring Tiffany (yes, that Tiffany!) and the Mega 80’s!

Wonderland of Lights at Potter Park Zoo
Come see Potter Park Zoo transformed into a winter wonderland! Every year, around the holidays, Potter Park decorates with thousands of lights and holiday displays. The event includes cookies, crafts and – of course! – animal encounters! Thursdays through Sundays, 5pm to 8pm, closed Thanksgiving.

Winter Glow is East Lansing’s annual, free, outdoor winter festival. This popular event has a little something for everyone with ice carving, carriage rides, holiday farmers market, live music tent, yummy holiday treats, and so very much more.

56th Annual MSU Arts and Crafts Holiday Show
The annual MSU Arts & Crafts Holiday Show is one of the largest in the state and a fabulous opportunity to get some holiday shopping done! Browse from thousands of one-of-a-kind, handcrafted items from new and returning vendors. Candles, furniture, jewelry, home and yard decor, aromatherapy, clothing, children’s toys, paintings, photography, sculptures and more!

Christmas in the Village at Meridian Village
