June 10th, 2022 by Corey A. Edwards

Ingham County Fair 2022Summer is nearly here and with it two of the state’s finest county fairs! Both Eaton County Fair and Ingham County Fair 2022 are just weeks away … and less than 20 minutes from The English Inn Restaurant & Pub!

Who doesn’t like a county fair? Cotton candy and carnival rides, tractor pulls, livestock, horse racing, fireworks, loads of live entertainment, and more! Whether you live in the area or are just stopping by for a visit, it’s hard to beat such good, clean fun like a county fair.

Michigan, like most states, is home to numerous county fairs and two of the state’s biggest and best are held within easy driving distance of our Lansing-area inn. In fact, Ingham County Fair is almost 170 years old!

While the historic English Inn may seem worlds away from a county fair, we’re actually just minutes from both. Consequently, you can spend as much time as you like at the fair, knowing that the comforts of your room at English Inn are just a short drive away.
