We are known for our luxurious accommodations as a bed and breakfast and are proud to have served as host to to so many beautiful weddings – but did you know that English Inn is also the perfect venue for your banquets and conferences?

With room for up to 200 people and a conference center complete with audio and video equipment, the English Inn is ready for your next big event. Our extensive experience serving large and diverse groups, coupled with the beauty and flexibility of our property, will help to make your event a smashing success.

The English Inn has five different and distinct rooms ready for your banquets and conferences:

The Medovue Banquet Facility

The Devonshire room: With space to seat up to 50 guests, the spacious Devonshire was originally a formal drawing room for the estate. With mahogany paneled walls, a black marble fireplace, antique furniture, and a baby grand piano, the Devonshire’s sophisticated and warmth makes it perfect for a gathering of friends and family.

The Thames room: Bright and airy, the Thames dining room features an inviting fireplace and three walls of leaded-glass windows overlooking the gardens and Grand River. Room for 24 guests.

The Oxford room: With views of the river, terrace, and gardens, the Oxford room is ideal for smaller groups and more intimate parties. Featuring a stone fireplace, and a terrazzo floor the Oxford Room has seating for up to 16 guests.

The Midford room: Placed so as to overlook the formal gardens, the Midford room was originally the estate’s dining room and can accommodate up to thirty-two guests.

Medovue Hall: A jewel of a banquet facility, Medovue offers space for up to 200 guests (though it is still a comfortable venue for as few as 50). With a marble foyer, expansive windows framing views of the estate, a double chandeliered ballroom, and a large outdoor patio that doubles as a dance floor, you would be hard pressed to locate a more unique and elegant facility for your gathering.
