The Lansing Boat Show

January 11th, 2011 by insideout

Do you love to boat? In a state such as Michigan, where there are more than 11,000 inland lakes and more than 3,000 miles of Great Lake coastline, boating is almost imperative. If you don’t have a boat, or if you’d like a different or new one, consider attending the upcoming Lansing Boat Show. Stay in our Lansing Bed and Breakfast while you’re in town.

This could be you.

The Lansing Boat Show takes place this Friday, Saturday and Sunday (January 14 – 16, 2011) at the Lansing Convention Center. Admission is free and there is no pressure to buy, so enjoy browsing to your heart’s content. The snowier and colder it is in Michigan during the winter, the warmer and sunnier it will be during the summer – or at least that’s what we like to imagine. Bring your dreams of basking on the deck of your new boat to the Lansing Boat Show.

We recommend (if we may) ample consideration before you buy; after all, for every person who joyously purchases a boat there is a person eager to sell a boat. Browse the show Friday or Saturday, then discuss your options over dinner at our Lansing Bed and Breakfast. Linger over dinner, and linger over your decision.

Whether or not you make a purchase, boat shows are fun. Learn about new models and get a feel for prices. Sit in kayaks, walk through yachts, run your hands along sleek sailboats, … and dream.
