Music at the Museum

The Michigan Historical Museum is devoted to preserving and displaying the history Michigan. Exhibits reach back to 14,000 years ago, when the First Peoples settled here, and continue through to the present. The museum is located inside the Michigan Library and Historical Center in downtown Lansing, less than thirty minutes from our Michigan bed and breakfast.

It is not only possible to wander through time at the Michigan Historical Museum; you may also treat yourself to the music of talented musicians from the Michigan State University College of Music, thanks to the Music at the Museum series.

A Klezmer Duo will take the stage on Sunday, March 7, 2010, at 1:30 pm. Refreshments will be served, and admission is free. Not only are you guaranteed a lovely afternoon of klezmer music, you will also support upcoming musicians and gain insight into what takes place at the College of Music.

The last concert of the series takes place Sunday, April 7, 2010, and will feature percussion.

Enjoy a romantic weekend (or two) at our Michigan inn, and treat yourself to delightful Sunday afternoons of history and music at the Michigan Historical Museum.
