Woldumar Nature Center is one of Lansing Michigan’s treasures. It is located along the Grand River, and includes 1.25 miles of shoreline within it’s 178 acres. More than five miles of trails through prairie, pine forests, and woodland are open from dawn to dusk, year round.

Enjoy a relaxing weekend at our Lansing Bed and Breakfast and the Woldumar Nature Center
The next time you are staying at our bed and breakfast Lansing, take some time to stroll the grounds of Woldumar. The center’s event calendar is worth a glance, for you may want to come to town specifically for one event or another.
The weekend of May 8 and 9, 2010, Woldumar is hosting a Wildflower Weekend. The center will be open from 9 – 5 on Saturday, and 9 – 4 on Sunday, although trails will be open from dawn to dusk.
There will be wildflower walks and pontoon floats down the Grand River; all eyes will be on finding signs of spring in the environment. Saturday’s walks will be guided by a naturalist, while Sunday’s walks are self-guided.
Look for new art to adorn your walls at the art show and sale (the theme of the work is nature’s beauty). Improve your gardening skills and understanding in several Garden and Nature Seminars, where a variety of outdoor topics will be discussed.
Woldumar Nature Center is about ten miles north of our Lansing bed and breakfast. A day at the center is a lovely addition to a relaxing stay at our inn.
