Every holiday season, the Potter Park Zoo in Lansing, MI transforms itself into a magical Wonderland of Lights. Using thousands of shimmering, multi-colored bulbs to create an extraordinary winter fantasy of holiday displays and animal exhibits.
Always a popular attraction for families, this year Potter Park Zoo partnered up with McLaren Greater Lansing to help make this year’s display, the 21st annual Wonderland of Lights, bigger and better than ever before.
With over 160 species of animals, many of which are threatened or endangered, Potter Park Zoo is a wonderful place to visit any time of the year but, during the Christmas season, its transformation to the Wonderland of Lights really ups the ante!
Stroll through the zoo to see all the displays and hear the wandering carolers. Take in musical performances while enjoying a warm cup of cocoa and the heat of a welcoming bonfire. Enjoy story-telling and live animal presentations that will delight and educate both young and old, alike. Visit with the jolly, old elf himself, Santa, and Mrs. Claus on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Wonderland of Lights is open Thursday through Sunday each week from 5pm to 8pm, Nov. 29 to Dec. 29.
Admission for Wonderland of Lights is $5 for adults, $3 for kids 3-12. Children 3 and under are free!
