The 7th annual Sun Dried Music Festival showcases a variety of regional acts in a family-friendly atmosphere. Along with non-stop entertainment on two stages, festival goers will also find food, drink, and gift vendors.
Seating in the Adult Beverage Tent will open before the show on Friday and Saturday. Other seating is available on the grounds around the courthouse. Bring a blanket or some lawn chairs and get ready to dance as music fills the streets!
Admission-free, Sun Dried Music Fest grows every year. Consequently, it’s expected to draw as many as 10,000 people to Mason, MI. This year’s list of headlining artists is a virtual who’s who of the regional music scene.
Life Support opens the festival on Friday night with their array of jazz standards, classic rock, and recent hits.
Young Guns Band kick things off Saturday with their lively brand of crowd-pleasing rockabilly. Shotguns & Violins high-energy, in-your-face country tunes will get you on your feet. Taylor Taylor is a 19-year-old native of Lansing, whose combination of Jazzy-Pop style, classical guitar skills, charismatic vocals, and lyrical songwriting reveal an intelligence beyond her years.
Delilah DeWylde and the Lost Boys mix their own songs with vintage country, rockabilly, and surf gems. Another popular group, The Backwoods Band, will rock the dance floor. Root Doctor plays a diverse mix of classic soul and R&B, alongside traditional blues and originals.
In addition to the headliners, other bands scheduled to appear include Way Station, Tell Yo Mama, and the Blue Haired Bettys. Sun Dried Music Festival winds up on Sunday, 11am with Sun Dried Worship, featuring guest artist David Huff.
